Comparing films (Vanessa Gurung)

Before filming for our opening sequence we suggested to look at a variety of teenage films, which inspired us to take elements from. The most popular film chosen by our group was 'Thirteen' and 'Juno'. We have taken elements from each film and decided to inspire our opening sequence on the idea of teenage troubled life, and how the stereotypical views of the youth has become reality.  We chosen to portray our teenage as a young girl who has been abused throughout her childhood.
